The Department of Law is particularly active in the production of public goods of a social, educational and cultural nature. Even its teaching – through innovative forms such as legal clinics – has led to spill-over effects in the area, through interaction with high schools (on financial education), and associations that protect the environment or are dedicated to assisting people in fragile states. 

Moreover, thanks to collaboration with local authorities, significant initiatives have been carried out to circulate the legal culture in various areas. These include:

• cycles of conferences aimed at students in the last years of high school on current legal issues/constitutional reforms
• training activities with the collaboration of the Equal Opportunities Committee of the Bergamo Bar Association Council
• conferences open to the city organised in collaboration with ARCI Bergamo, Alg and CPO Fnsi, CPO Provincia BG, AIAF Lombardia, Mental Health Voluntary Associations in Bergamo - L'Orizzonte, Aiutiamoli and the Arci Liberamente association
• legal clinics
