The collections at the library of the economic and legal centre of via dei Caniana are mainly made up of documents belonging to the disciplinary areas taught within the Department: they are largely placed on open shelves and therefore directly accessible.
The Library’s collections include a specialised collection of legal documents called the Traini Collection in memory of the executive of Credito Bergamasco who the Banking Institute wanted to remember.
The library has over 70,000 volumes including monographs, pamphlets and dissertations and receives about 600 titles of periodicals in current subscription and the development of this collection is annually ensured by the contribution donated by Credito Bergamasco to the Department. The resources made available also mean visitors to the Library have access to sources of online information of particular interest for legal research.
